Go to George only if you or people you are with are not those who only have to be seen in the right place!!
George is a typical ’’Irani Restaurant’’ which has upgraded its ambience and standard. Service is courteous and fast. No reservations are required and thus far we have not had to wait for a table.
The Tandoori platter and Roteserrie Chicken are highly recommended along with their famous Biryani. Portions are large, so be sure not to over order! Presentation of food is nothing to shout about...served with the normal slices of salad etc. Generally food is served hot. Music is typical Hindi film songs..so if you are looking for a ’’cool’’ and ’’in’’ place, George is not for you. However, if you are going there for the food...it is highly recommended.
The crowd includes all types except the highly ’’snooty- nose in air’’ kinds.
