I am a regular reader of mouthshut but too lazy to put a review. So the review count till now is only 3. There are lots of reviews about the bad services of the Movers and Packers. So thought will suggest a good movers and packers for all the people looking for a good service. I have used them to shift places only within Bangalore. I have not tried intercity service so won’t be able to comment on the same. I have used there services two times. First time when moving from B.T.M Layout to Bannerghata road, near IIM Bangalore(Approx. 6 Kms). And second time from Bannerghata road to Old Airport road (Approx. 15 kms.). Both the time there services were really good.
You call them at the number given below and one of them will come to give a quote. You show them all the things needed to be moved, the address where you are moving, the number of floors and whether they can use the lift. Based on this he will give you a quote, obviously you will be charged more if they can’t use the lift. You may bargain a little on the price. I didn’t as the price was already less than what the other packers quote.
Give them the time when they should come. I asked them to come at 9.00 and they were at my house at 7.30. So next time I told them that if they come before 9.00 I wont open the door so they came at 9.30 :).
Around 6-7 guys will come with there manager and they will get all the cardboard boxes, foam and the packing materials. 2 guys will go to each room and kitchen and start packing. What we did was each of us went to each room and instructed them which thing should go to which box so that it is easier to pack. I didn’t have the packing for my fridge so they wrapped it with foam and put it inside box. Almirahs also they wrap it around foam so that it wont scratch. All of were bachelors at that time but we have so many things even most married people wont have. They took around 3 hours including time for packing and loading in the truck.
It took half an hour to reach the house, I showed the way with me bike and my friends following them with Car.
The good thing is while unloading you can ask them to arrange the house for you also. Mainly for all the big items and later you can take care of the small things. I asked them to arrange all the things for me and later I was required only to arrange mattresses, curtains and clothes. I gave a tip of 100 each to all the workers, obviously its a personal choice. But I would recommend to at least give something only if you are happy with there service. I was impressed with them. I gave Rs. 500/- advance and rest before they were leaving.
