Globus definitely is oe of the cosiest theaters I have ever been to. The seating gives you the feel of being at home. The movies are also usually selected to attract the families.
Its true that the current building came up only around a year ago. But the cinema has been there for quite a while with proper rest periods. Of course it didnt have the name globus attached to it until a year ago when globus corp came up with the current building housing its apparel business in the lower three floors and the theater in the top one. a redundant law restricted globus from eliminating the movie business so it used the uppermost floor for the theater since its main concern is apparel retailing.
The building has got two car lifts imported from singapore and uses two levels of basement for the car park. of course the building hasn’t been designed for rush hour traffic.
The theater itself has got a comfortable capacity of 259.The lifts of course are not adequate for the rush hour traffic. But there are staircases. And the beauty of the design is that you are made to go through the mall while you go out. and you may just buy something buy something on impulse. Inside there are escalators and the only full glass capsule lift in india.
The price is a little on the higher side.
