Review on Go Air

I’ve traveled a couple of times with Go-Air. They are punctual and courteous. But God help you if you want to change your travel schedule or something. The Go-air website works only for booking air tickets. If you want to cancel / pre-pone / postpone the website cannot do it because the online facility does not work. Also, although there is a tab in the menu that says “Contact”, the page itself does not exist. I guess what they mean to say is book your tickets and then good luck to you – don’t contact us for anything thereafter.

Any changes to the schedule will cost you Rs 600 PER PASSENGER. So if you are on a holiday with your entire family and need to change the schedule it will cost you a fair packet.

Also, Go-Air charges a “Passenger service fee” and then a "Passenger handling fee" I mean how ridiculous can this be? What are we a bunch of bananas? A travel company that charges a passenger handling fee – should feature in the Genies book of world records. Do I have a choice of saying I don’t want to be “handled”?

The in-flight service is the same as any other low cost carrier. When the food trays come around, the stewards are nice and polite when asking you to pay up. But at least they offer you some food. Spice Jet will not offer you anything.

So should you travel by Go Air? - Yes provided you are not likely to change your travel schedule and your quite comfortable about being "handled":-)
