See it again and again

In one word, the movie is a classic.

Of course my Tamilian friends would lead me to believe that the Tamil version is better

:-) ( I haven’t seen that one myself).

The few key things which makes it an evergreen classic.

  1. Total family entertainer.

  2. Class acting from Amol Palekar and Utpal Dutt.

I am a big fan of both.

I was kind of disappointed with Amol Palekar in Aks.

He is classier than that.

  1. The movie used the age old twin-brother concept of Bollywood but in a very

new way.

  1. The songs are great particularly ’’Aane Wala Pal’’ and

’’Sab Golmal Hai’’.

  1. The whole movie was practically indoors and yet it left such

a big impact.

  1. The dialogue delivery in this movie by Utpal Dutt and

Amol Palekar then went onto become a part of their image.

I would love to see the movie again and again and never get tired of it.
