Before you think any further..Its NOT an old jackie chan movie re-released in a new name. Its a very new (released in 1999 originally in mandarin under the name Bor Lei Jun) jackie chan movie which was not very popular when released abroad. Its co-written and produced by jackie chan himself. Secondly its NOT a movie where jackie chan plays a police officer from ’’The royal hong kong police’’ chasing drug smugglers/gangsters/terrorists. Infact its an experimental film by jackie chan. (dont laugh guys...). It starts in Taiwan where a young woman, Qi shu, gets a message in a bottle from the sea from a guy in hong kong. When she goes to meet the guy..he turns out to be a gay. Circumstances make her meet Jackie chan, who is a super-rich recyling plant owner. She falls in love with him little knowing that there are more skeletons in the cupboard. There are 4/5 stunt scenes and the first stunt scene in the ship is outstanding. The climax stunt scene is a bit too long but even thats passable. A well intended film which could have been much better. Watch it exclusively, only if you are a jackie chan fan. (you should have heard the whistles/roars during his first fight scene in the theatre..bombay loves jackie chan).
