Review for Grapevine

Grapevine

Its situated at Peninsula Corporate Park  Lower Parel (Digonally Opposite to Vodafone Building). You need to go straight from Phoneix Mills and take the 1st left at the signal. Peninsula Corporate Park is situated on the opposite road and will not be hard to miss. The Restuarant is located in the Club House and is open from 11 AM to 3 PM and 6 PM to 11 PM. Phone - +912266608828/66106666. They even do Home Delivery for nearby localities.

Food

Grapevine serves Chinese, Italian and Punjabi Fare. The Menu has a large variety of food items and it becomes very difficult to choose. From the starters to the main course it has over 100 different items to choose from. I do not eat Non Vegetarian food so I wont be able to recommend anything for the carnivorus living beings but for the Grass Eaters, I would recommend the Seasame Toast and Garlic-Cheese Balls. For the main course, from the Punjabi Section, I would recommend Nargisi Kofta and piping hot butter naan. From Italian, I would recommend Lasagna. However, if you are ordering a Lasagna, do not order any other food item as it is very filling. The food is quite delicious and one really needs to go on a real emty stomach to enjoy the cuisine. For the dessert, I highly recommend the Caramel Custard.

Price

Despite the up-beat location, the price is compartively much affordable. Because it is located in the club house, it gets close to subsidised pricing so an average meal for 2 (Without drinks) would not gross more than Rs 500. Rs 500 would fetch you one round of Starters, One gravy, 2-3 Butter Naans / Rotis, 2 Desserts and 1 Aerated Water. The hard drinks are afordable as well. Rs 90 would fetch you a large peg of White Rum.

Decor and Ambience

The restaurant is huge and would comfortably have atleast 100 people sitting with loads of space. The best thing about the restuarant is that it is one of those few restaurants you can visit on any night and find space to sit. The prime reason being, that its situated in a commercial complex so the majority of business is done during day time. During Office Hours, you may never get a place to sit but I have always found the Restuarant to be relatively empty on weekend nights. An ideal place to take your partner if you dont like noise. Of course, this is never the case on Friday Nights and Public Holidays. The Decor is veryt well done and the advantage this restaurant gets over any other in the locality, is ample free parking space. They have also intorduced the concept of exican Singers who will come to your table for 5-10 minutes and sing some nice hindi-english songs, with all guitar and viloin.

Serving Time

Its usually 15-20 minutes for any dish. The waiters are polite and patient.
