Am here to share a bad experience which my wife had during our visits to gunasheela. As rightly said, by a majority on this forum. It is NOT the place to take your LOVED one’s. My wife was diagnosed for PCOD( Polycystic ovary syndrome) and we knew this before making our visit to gunasheela. They made her go though’n’ number of tests and was also mentally harassed by the jr.doctors( ill-treatment and rude behavior) . Jr.doctors lack basic knowledge on how to handle a patient. Within a short span of tests and medical examination, they suggested her for an IUI treatment. We got 3 rounds of IUI done.
Result turned to be negative. Now, without any further diagnosis or medical examination - the jr.doctor called upon us for a consultation and told us on the face. And I quote - " The reports show a negative results for the IUI treatment done so far. One primary reason could be the egg release may not be happening correctly or there may be no egg produced in your ovary. Which is that case, you may have to even search for a egg donor before preparing yourself for an IVF treatment. Your wife may not be able to conceive as she is not producing quality eggs or may be any egg in that case for conception of a baby."
I was shocked and surprised listening to the inhuman/insane doctor - before I could even question her intelligence - Tears rolled off my wife’s eyes upon listening these words from the doctor and she was inconsolable - while I kept looking at her and trying to console.
The doctor in discussion on this forum is DR SHWETA and as she went on to say - "the IVF will cost you 1.5lakhs and has to be done as soon as possible before it gets too late. I holded my nerve as it made more sense to be a good listener at that point in time.
By then, I had paid( wasted) more than 40 thousand for our consultation/treatment waiting valuable hours in that hospital for nothing.
As we walked out of gunasheela quietly, she with tears in her eyes. I promised myself within and to my wife, WE will PROVE them wrong and whatever she was told you today was rubbish. For the rest of the weekend I drove her out of Bangalore to ease the stress/mental trauma and on our return back home - we decided not to talk on the gulasheela episode thereafter.
A few weeks later, we happend to visit a very good doctor referred by my sister. She got the laproscopy treatment done as suggested by the doctor and bingo she conceived normal intercourse in just 2 months after the treatment.
Its a known fact - people will always want to take advantage of someone’s emotions when you are running low in confidence levels and dRajeev_Vermarately want to make way out of the infertility mode.
It is very difficult for a women to digest the fact that she cant or will never conceive, in which case Dr.Sweta didn’t realize as she always connects with her patience as OBJECTS and Not as Human beings. It gets even harder and very embarrassing when you get into the infertility mode.
Its important to have faith in god, self belief and patience.
I recommend NOT to visit Gunasheela if and only if you have time & money to spend.
"Attitude is a small thing that makes a big difference. The basic concept is that everyone wants happiness, no one wants suffering. And happiness mainly comes from the positive attitude and confidence the doctor showcases to their patients."
This is a huge factor, I saw missing with the folks at Gunasheela.
