I live in Hyderabad and for last 6 months I am using Hathway broadband services. I got attracted to their lucrative offer of 50MBPS speed in 550/- per month aprox. after adding taxes.
I was asked to pay for 3 months in advance and once the payment was made real trouble started . The executive handling my case disappeared, I kept calling him asking for the status of my connection installation but he always ignored . Somehow after calling to many people and spending almost 200 bucks of phone bill connection was installed that too after 13 days of my payment.
Now coming to the service and bandwidth quality. it is just unreliable, anytime connection will be lost and you have to struggle at least for 30 mints to reach out to their customer service to register your complain. If you have anything important to work on after your office hrs and you reach home from office at 10PM most of the time connection is lost. What would be situation in such case just imagine.
Their USP is the speed they claim i.e 50MBPs which will never come you may get hardly 2 - 3 mbps . The most weird is after 10 to 15days of normal usage( checking email and browsing for 2- 3 hrs per day) they send message that your limit of 20GB is over, this is the most irritating . If there is no download no extensive use how can it reach 20GB.
I always keep one datacard as backup because this is just unreliable . I use my datacard for almost 3 to 4 hrs a day and have never reached to its maximum capacity i.e 5 GB per month.
