I purchased a HDFC life product more than 5 years before.
when buying I have been told - all services are on click away. But now I need to liquidate my investment, I cannot approach any of their branches. In Bangalore there are only 3 branches provide this service.
It is surprising- why cann’t they collect the investment bond & application and send it through internal dispatch to their processing branch ? Anyhow payments are directly credited to the account!
It made me to take 2 days leave to run behind them & complete. That too for the investment which is under negative growth.
While buying they say that they have team of market experts for investment. I made the investment when market was not doing well.
Still, in last 5 years where market seen so much growth, but my HDFC investment never shown any positive growth so far. Whereas my other direct investment in market shown considerable progress!
I never want to look back to HDFC.
