Do not buy the Pleasure, if you are an occasional user like me. I only use it two to three days a week. If you do not use it everyday, it is impossible to start. You can never kickstart the scooter after a night’s rest.
If the battery is weak or after a couple of days of non-use, be prepared to wheel the scooter to the service station to start. I have had it checked by different service centres, but the cold starting trouble remains.
I repeat, never buy this scooter. Go for the activa instead. Other than that the mileage suffers as you have to use the choke every day to start. The choke drains the fuel efficiency too.
My mileage is just 22 kmpl. Worse than an autorickshaw! I have had an activa and an old kinetic honda both of which I used for over 10 years. Both of them started within 20 secs even if not used for a week.
The Pleasure takes nearly 7 minutes of my time every time my wife needs to take it out! Considering it is meant for ladies, I really doubt a lady would be able to put in on the central stand and kick start for 7 minutes each morning.
The drive is not as smooth as the Activa. Potholes and road irregularities are clearly transmitted to your spine. The steering is also not as stable as in the Activa or the Kinetic Honda, where you felt in control of the scooter at all times.
Update:
The electrical system has failed completely now. Horn, lights, indicators not working. Maybe a fuse to be changed? They have placed the battery and fuse in such an inaccesible place!!! The whole front of the scooter has to be dismantled before you can get at the battery!!!
