Today ie 8/2/2013, I visited Hero showroom in allapuzha. Got the chance to see almost all bikes by hero and their modals. I then dragged myself into two bikes that fit my budget(60, 000/-) .
1# PASSION X-PRO, 110cc, alloys, tubeless, digital speedometer..same features that of PASSION-PRO PRICED @62000(disc-alloy-self) , 60000/-(Alloys-self) and 57500/-(spoke-self). Mileage claimed by co. 65+kmpl (it share engine that of dream yugas and twister bu tuned by HERO).
2# HERO SPLENDER NXG(100cc, alloys, self, great mileage compared to passion x pro about 70+ kmpl). I then decided to buy passion x pro, but the thing that kept me from thinking was:
All fibre parts are not to the standards It was like touching skin(PESPONSE FROM STAFF ON THIS:It is not a big problem the parts will be tightned on delivery), but I dont thing soo...take a look for yourself when u visit the showroom
The problems people had and faced with the old passion pro, that to kept me away from buying it
After each service from hero people here say that they experience a reduce in previous mileage. After discussing it with the sales executive, I went out to have lunch saying that I will pay the amount after having lunch. I came outside showroom and asked 2-3 persons who has bought bikes from hero, one with splendor pro and another with passion pro both guys were college students. They shared their experiences and they concluded that if u are planing to take an economical and reliable bike do go to Honda showroom and try the new Honda dream yuga. Their friends who took yuga was more than satisfied with the bike.
Tomorrow I’m planning to book "Honda Dream Yuga"
