Yesterday in Dommasandra (Bangalore), my bike got into reserve. So I got ~3.8L petrol from HP petrol pump there. My bike normally gives 50-60kmpl mileage. But to my shock, today it again got into reserve!!! And I had traveled hardly 30km after filling the petrol.
Then I realized that the petrol pump boy had not filled even 0.8L out of 3.8L which I had paid for.
This is not the first time these HP petrol pumps have cheated me. But this was my 1st experience for this particular petrol pump on Dommasandra main road just it is on your left while coming from Varthur and just before taking the left turn while going towards Electonic City. I had heard similar cases from other people and myself faced it many times. I have seen few times times people fighting for:
> Accuracy in the petrol reading
> Not starting from zero,
> Diverting the driver and stopping well before the desired number and closing the petrol connection.
I do not believe these companies are not aware of these malpractices. Who knows these malpractices might be companies sponsored!!!
