Two Months since I bought the car. It is converted to CNG and got it registered. I believe that my car was one of the last to be converted by the Company. New owners will probably have to get it fitted it outside. Insurance, Warranty and Registration etc will be impacted.
Observations are:
After CNG no space in boot. Inside, the car is quite spacious,
AC, like some other member has said does not chill. Need to put fan at 3 or 4 and wait for a long time(20 min atleast) for cooling effect. Still, parts of my frame sweat.
Mileage is about 14.5 kmpl in Petrol and about 25 km per kg in CNG. All in the city. AC always ON.
Power extremely good. No obvious difference between Petrol and CNG.
At least not on our congested city roads.
Braking and maneuverability good. Understeer, oversteer, body roll not felt so far. But have done high speed highway stretches of only 12 km at one go.that too with speedbreakers.
Overall reminds me of the old Zen.
