I own CB UNICORN DAZZLER from Dec-2010, and I have completed 6956 km as on date and 3 services as well. Still I feel its a brand new. I travel in busy streets of Chennai, almost 250 km a week, dazzy returns me a economy of 42-48. I have tested its milage twice in highway, it is 54 kmpl.
The good thing in dazzy is the comfort. I have travelled almost 110 km in a single stretch with a small duration stops in traffic jams, believe me I had no bach aches. the only problem I suffered was neck pain due to my heavy helmet!! In the beginning I faced a little problem in shifting 4 to 5 (upto 2nd service) bur now it is alright.
One thing I worry is that the front head crawl gives a shake during 1st and 2nd gear vibration and it irritates me. this problem started after the 2nd service, as soon as I got my bike serviced. I face a problem of servicing quality from Didar Honda guys@ Chennai who do not love their work. After the wash the back seat handle has been touched with oil or greasy hands so that the shining has been faded by them.
The front head crawl problem may be due to their negligence as my friend at Pune does not have the same. The quality of bike in all aspects is high, one will really feel it. The switches, foot rests, lamps etc have a good finishing and feel. I have come across some bikes of major manufactures where one can easily feel the cost cutting quality in majority of the aspects. In this regard Honda has an edge over them.
I had a worry over the disturbing sound from the chain but after reading the manual I could fix that problem. What I did was, I cleaned the chain just with the cloth and with Castrol 90 gear oil (cost Rs 105) I lubricated it and now its too smooth. No extra sounds. I do it for every 1000 km and I recommend the Dazzy owners to do the same. Service guys did not help me in this regard and thats the reason I could get a solution from Owners Manual.
Over all its a very good bike which suits my living style, I can say its the bike for executives.
