Dont take the Title in the wrong sense. I only meant that since its a 125 CC bike we cannot have a great thrill of riding like a Racer with all 150 CCs cruising along!!!!
Here is my first cut review on Stunner CBF. Well another product from Honda to strengthen its position on the 125 CC segment market after Shine. Lets see the pros & cons of it.
This is strictly targeted towards the youth and so styled accordingly. Lets see the pros and cons of it. I am not going to guide you into the technical aspects of the bike as I have not seen it run much as my brother bought one very recently. The pros and cons of the bike are as follows:
A sleek design:
There are 2 ways to look at it. If you want to show off your muscles and impress some one this bike may not suit you as it would appear like Arnold Schwarzenegger going on a Luna(A little too much exaggerated) but if you are reasonably slim and you want to penetrate thru the traffic , this one would be a good choice.
*Style and Performance Combination:
*It has a very decent styling with integrated head lamp and front cowl and Sporty foot rests etc. Coming to the performance of this bike, this is in the 125 CC segment so it is expected to give some where between 55-60 kmpl which is ideal for students. But if you look at it in the different angle, there are so many people who criticize the unsynchronized handle and head light combi. also for a sporty looking bike 125 CC is not enough to cruise off.
*Seating and Comfort:
*You would appreciate your bike very much if you and your GF have a very good time with those rides and you would do the same with this bike too if both of you are slim else you need to take a very crampy decision of asking her to come by auto and you going by bike(He He He).However the riders position is very good and probably one of the best for sport bikes.
Seating is average with a little cushion added for the seat.
Also the shock absorbers are not that big but OK.
*Reliability and Ride quality:
*Well you cannot take long rides with this bike because it is a likely to give you some irritation with all those 150 CC bikes hitting the road but if you are on a date or on a plan for movie or a journey till 50 Kms you gonna love it.
One of the USPs of this bike is the very fact that it is from Honda which makes it reliable as there has not been a single failure from them in Indian Markets.
If you get adjusted to the integrated head lamp, you can say that the handling is good but takes a little time though.
The lightind is very good and so is the braking.
*Service:
*Honda has very limited number of service centers in India so the srevice is not available at all places but the main thing that you need to consider is that they are offering a 2+3 yrs warranty for an additional 600 Rs which makes this superior to take.
So folks this is up for now . Will come up with the technical aspects of the review after my brother clocks some 1k with his Bike.
*Regarding Recommendation:
*If you are well muscularly built dont go for this there are so many bikes in the market which await you and which are big but if you are slim or a middle sized you can take this bike.
Also if you want to take some long rides you need to seriously think but in city traffic, take it without any doubt.
And regarding biking in the city it depends on the Biker and not the bike. I stilll cruise past so many Pulsars in the city with my Suzuki Samurai9Recently got a Hunk for long rides).
Consider the following before taking any bike
Your Size
Speed or Economy
Type of rides
So, folks have a nice biking experience!!!!!
