I have driven a friends civic 2008 (1.8v 5speed manual) a lot of times...the car is pretty good when it comes to looks and the interiors r also quite decent with leather here and there and I should say the dash lits up very well with that sexy blue background...its very powerful and quick and I once received it to 6500-7000rpm on 3rd gear and it touched 110kmph...no doubt the car is fast...
Now when it comes to the interiors, the drivers position is all good and kinda sporty but the back seats do lack in comfort and head room, , , i m 60"...
Another thing I noted while driving is that compared to most cars, the civic has a thin clutch...that means the car may stall a lot in the hands on inexperienced drivers...first I thought, its my driving fault, but then many of my friends also said the same thing...
The car is pretty stable at high speeds and is fun to drive but again its a little bit hard on the suspension...and the ground clearance really does receive a low blow while hitting a ramp or a bad speed breaker Rajeev_Vermacially with backseat passengers on...
The brakes r pretty tight with ABS compared to the innova I drive. The steering is very responsive and sharp...overall its a 10 on10 for handling...
The cabin is quiet and the engine runs smooth...The standard 6 speaker music system is not really that good...sound quality and ampliMr_customtakeouter its not up to the mark...
it gives around 10kmpl in city driving...
and the rest is all good...:)
civic:excellent on looks, handling, is fast, stable, ok on comfort, gives a decent kmpl figure...what more can anyone want...looks like the hondas really didnt leave much for me to blame on...:P
BTW, i would recommend the automatic version as the clutch is a real pain in the https://m.mouthshut.com/ss rel="nofollow" target="_blank" >@ss in traffic...
