I have clocked 7k km so far on my new cb unicorn. Overall I am very satisfied with quality
and engine but I wish honda introduce another unicorn with with 200cc capacity.
Feel: like riding a quality motorcycle. very well built and enough weight to keep stable at any speed.
Comfort: rear suspension feel too stiff initially and only get little bit soft after some use but still stiff for indian bumpy roads. having said that it does not give backpain. I had back pain in my old splendor. riding position is good.
Power: Tuned more towards city usage. Can ride in 5th gear in speed as low as 35. Pleasure to ride up to 70 km/s speed. thus top-end performance a bit weak.
very sweet sounding smooth engine. I can not find any other two wheeler as silent as unicorn. semi synthetic oil makes huge difference too.
Balance: Too good. Lot better than Pulsar and gs150r. its joy to cut corners.
Mileage: 47 km/ltr.
Design: Extremely sober and sophisticated from every angle.
Honda after sales service is not satisfactory. find service station that is less less crowded.
Who should buy?: those who want decent pickup, looks and reliable silent engine.
Who should not buy?: hooligans, idiots, pulsar lovers who can compromise engine quality over raw power.
Update:
Tried different oils honda, Veedol super swift, castrol power1, shell ax7.
veedol and shell semi synthetics are found very good for the bike. shell ax7 most favourite.
castrol Power1 fully synthetic jammed my engine valves often and given lot of troubles may be fake oil or unicorn didnt like fully synthetic in new bike.
honda oil not so good but cheap.
