I have purchased my unicorn in year 2006 . I have successfully completed 6 years and 65000KMs with Unicorn.
I still feel the bike is new in terms of looks and performance.
Everyday riding with Unicorn is enjoyment.
I replaced by front wheel tyres after 6 years and still It didn’t get puncher ed even after 6 years.
I changed my back wheel tyres only once in last after I purchased my bike.
My self start motor was worn out only after 6 years.
Unicorn never made me to push my bike due to puncher. I have seen people with new PULSURS pushing there bike due to puncher
I like tuff up tube given by Honda.
I had very bad experience with Honda service centers in Bangalore. This people cheated me by changing clutch plates , other important items from my bike when I used to give my Bike for free service.
My advice ---> never give your bike to service center for free service. There are some cheats who take away your bikes parts in the name of free service.
I even had bad experience with some technicians and bike service center who claimed to be experts.
Finally I found a good service guy near my house, who is a expert.
I came across few owners of other bikes who , replaced there engine bore, wheels, self start motor, batteries etc. within few thousand kilometers,
With Unicorn , There was not need for me to spend my money on such early maintenance.
In short---> Unicorn is best high quality bike , with less maintenance problem. Each ride is a enjoyment for the riders.
Identify a good expert technician for your Unicorn. Always stand next to the bike during the bike service. Never give you bike to the Honda service station. You will be cheated by those people.
