This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. I would like to tell one horrifying experience about there service in restaurant. I visited with 8 family members in the restaurant. We were given 10 seats. The interiors were pathetic with the paint coming out from the walls and walls were looking like patchy piece. We requested the steward to serve the less spicy food but inturn the food was full of spices and we were unable to eat. Moreover to that the staff was staring at us like hungry dogs so that we should vacate the seats.
The were so desperate that they started picking up the water glasses when I was drinking the water. Also when I asked for the finger bowls we were told that they dont serve the Fingerbowls (even a simple restaurant serves that). One minute later I saw then servince fingerbowls to other memebers. I asked the steward why they are not serving us the finger bowl he gave me a witty smile and still didnt serve the finger bowls. The we asked there manager who too was staring at us (may be couting the calories as his part timie job :)) to serve the finger bowl in a stern voice then they served the finger bowls.
The water in finger bowl was dirty and we didnt use it. When we asked them that this is against the table manners then they just ignored. After paying the bill we wanted to talk to their manager but as usual they said he is out of Ooty. Good thing is we didnt ask for any discount and the bill was hefty around 2000. I suggest all the fellow ppl who are planning to travel to OOty to avoid this place as the food quality is poor and the service and behavior of staff is pathetic. I hope my experience wil help other ppl to avoid such harassment.
