I belong to Shimla as such and have never really stayed or visited hotel Rahat till a few days ago.
Couple of freinds wanted to come up from delhi and we did out bookings in Rahat and I ended up sepending a night there as well. My advise to everyone is...Dont go here. BNot only is the service pathetic but these guys fleece you openly.
There is no parking really..a small drive which willaccomodate 3 maruti 800’s at the most. and if u are the one to park last the hotel staff will come knocking on ur door, wake u up and make u move the car.
We got a discount rate..but they were such thugs that they made it up by charging us Rs 150 per night for a heater!!
Receptionins was drunk 2 nights out of the 3 we were there for.
4.Cut of thier intercom when they feel like hence no room serivice etc available.
Small rooms which would in my opinion we worth not more than 150 Rs...what they want...800 Rs.
Narrow menu and take forever to get the food.
Definetely not women freindly... infact there seem to be vague guys hanging arounda ll the time.
