After googling around for hotels in Shirdi and going through various reviews we landed at Hotel Sai Krupa and found it was a great choice. The hotel was located on a walkable distance from the temple. The surroundings were much better than other hotels that we saw in-and-around the temple area. The hotel is little old and some polishing would make it even more attractive!
Our check-in/check-out was smooth, the hotel owner/staff Mr. Amol was kind enough to let us choose the room as per our choice. We had 4 Adults and we took 2 rooms (double bedded). Most of the rooms have A/c but we decided not to use and they make it @non-ac rates. On arrival we also got some discounts!! Though the bathrooms were not too great but it was manageable. We visited the place in April and wondering how the non-ac rooms would be but they have the power backup so you wouldn’t feel the heat. Also most of the rooms have a small balcony area that makes the room airy & fresh. Also they have ample amount of parking space in front of the hotel itself.
There is a restaurant in house so one need not even go out hunting for food. In fact we had our evening snacks & the dinner at Sai Krupa Restaurant itself and the food quality was decent. Though the service can be improved to make it faster but it’s worth especially if you want to avoid the crowd outside. We in fact got hot milk for our kids. I personally would recommend this hotel but do block the rooms in advance to avoid any surprises. Going there and hunting for a place can be an option if you have the courage to go around but with family I strongly suggest one should book in advance.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay and absolutely worth the money we spent!
