You are special when you become a customer of HSBC and not loose money! They have the best ways of milking you and leaving you dry.
They cajoled me into an insurance with TATA-AIG couple of years back and when I wanted to escalate the issues they remain silent. They will not talk to you - the only way is to file a suit against them. They literally robbed me of several lakhs of rupees.
If you want peace of mind, don’t get lured by anything they have to say and stay with a nationalized Indian bank.
