HSBC has over the last few years gone from a professional and attentive bank to one of the worst. They seem to hire people with no skills, have no respect for their customs or the business and are indifferent in every possible way. They are unfortunately living on their past brand name, and in India, Suck big time.
If anyone out there is looking at opening an account with HSBC, I would suggest against it. Today, even government banks like Canara, provide a better service than HSBC.
I am fed up with their complacence and will be closing my account there and moving to another bank. They have literally gone to the dogs, and the saddest part is, they couldn’t be bothered.
After years of terrible service, I now receive a letter from them, stating that from Jan 2014, they are replacing the HSBC Internet Banking Platform with HSBCnet, WHICH WILL BE A PAID SERVICE! To those of you not aware of this, GET OUT NOW!
