I bought Hyundai Accent GLS in 2000. At that time (and to a large extent, even now), its best buy in its category, if you want value for money. At times, though, I feel it is little under-powered (with AC on and 5 adults). Other than that I have been very satisfied with ride, comfort, handling, features, service and mileage. Couple this with great interiors and outside looks, makes it most attractive.
Ride: Good enough ride quality. Quite smooth both in city and on highways at high speeds (I have touched 130km/hr without feeling any loss of control)
Comfort: Seats are pretty comfortable in the front. Only drawback is, the back seats are not that comfortable for long journeys (they are low) and also difficult to get in and out.
Service: Mostly good (except for some minor hiccups rarely, which is only an irritant)
mileage: I get a mileage of 12kmpl in Bangalore city (11.5 with AC on). On highways, I usually get around 14. Once when load was less, I even got 16kmpl.
