Your piece seems to be faulty! I have been using this phone for nearly 3 months and it never hanged even once. Yes, there was one occasion, when I was listening to music, it 'reset' and was back to previous state after 30 seconds.

Your review is good, but with a small error. In GSM standard, you say voice is sent as it is. It is wrong. It uses TDM (Time Division Multiplex) to tranmit the encoded voice (using GSM standard voice encoding standards). The GSM handset has to have both encoder and decoder. - navshot
