After driving for nearly 19000 kms, I experieinced steering wobbling at 100 kmph on chen-blr highway. Front tyre got punctured also. Tyre mechanic told me that that I need to go for wheel alignment. I checked with HMP chennai for this. They told me that since I have not booked earlier for the service, they cannot take it up and referred me to wheel alignment shop.
They examined the front tyres and told me that they are really wornout and I need to replace them. So, I replaced them with Bridgestone today. I did the wheel alignment also, and surprisingly many attributes were -ve and I got them aligned properly.
I am really surprised that I had to change the tyres at 19k. Please let me know if this is ok, or I had replaced the tyres in haste. But the wheel alignment guy told me that it is not advisable to go for long drives unless I replace my tyres.
I would appreciate any inputs / comments.
