I totally agree. I bought my santro xing xl in Oct 2008 and till now I have done 25k. Recently on my blr-chn drive at constant cruising speed of 90 kmph, I got 22 kms per litre mileage. It was awesome !! Though I have an eye on VW Polo, I don't think it would be that easy for me to accept that I read more...

Now I have driven nearly 25000 kms. On the last trip to chennai from b'lore, I got awesome mileage of 21 kms per ltre. I cruised exactly at 85 to 90 kmph per hour. Never went above 90 kmph.
My 3rd post on this. I have driven 20k till now. For the past 2 long trips ( Chn-Blr-Chn), I'have started getting my right leg ankle pain and slowly the pain moves to my calf-muscles. I am 5.5, but I have this problem I feel i'am stretching too much to hold the steering. I tried to use with more legroom now. But in this case,I feel that I don't have a grip on the steering wheel.
