When is a movie being made on this book?

The loving memory of the girl whom I loved, yet could not marry". Having had a sneak peek of the book and what’s inside it from a colleague, decided to buy the book upfront. The first few chapters of this book are interesting and hilarious, which deals with a gang of 4(including the author, Ravin) who decide to post their profile on Shaadi.com and embark on their search for a soul match. Ravin, after many misses, gets lucky when Khushi, a Faridabad-based girl gives him a call after seeing his profile. This inquiry call transforms to a 10 month courtship and they finally decide to get engaged on February 14th. This is almost 3/4th of what the book is about and this happens to many young couples in love.

Now, the most important fact is that Ravinder Singh’s "I too had a love story" is a real life narration of an Infoscion who fell in love with Khushi, experienced a wonderful love life, successfully convinced families on both sides, decided to get engaged and as fate had it, lost his dearest darling to a road accident 5 days before the date of engagement. The highlights of this book are the sweetest moments which Ravin shared and the perfect expression of the pain he underwent when Khushi was on the last leg of her journey called life. The past tense of the narration in the book portrays an intimate relationship which Ravin and Khushi had, though they lived hundreds of miles apart. In an age where anything and everything is available at fingertips making relationships redundant, the very existence of such a love story is vindication to the fact that true love still exists. The 100-odd page book is an easy read over a 5 hour journey owing to the fact that the language used in the book is pretty simple.

For all those book enthusiasts this novel makes for a good read on a breezy evening.
