Here s from the horses mouth... well I am a student of icfai hyd. just to comment on the previous reviews I would like to say that mba is not a cakewalk anyway, even in a regular course we feel that lot of subjects are left untouched and unknown. sites like google, indiainfoline and wharton school provide lot of assistance. so, if we plan to do our mba through distant education u miss out on critical issues.atleast icfai provides some classroom assistance in many centres so it could help you ... but if u ask for my suggestion mba in distant education is an absolute NO NO.
i am not here to defend icfai but though they have rented buildings here, we are moving into our huge campus by may so there is a silver lining if we are rated not on the quality of education but the campus.
the icfai material keeps in mind the indian outlook of mba, we have lot of indian examples which we miss in the foreign authors.i think the absence of a campus do cause a problem but we as budding managers learn to make use of the minimal resources and make events a grand occasion.
i welcome everyone in icfai regular courses and I promise you that you will learn lot of things that is a miss in many top notch b schools. what ??? come and find out or reach me in subhadipg@gmail.com
