Icfai started long back and in fact iwas one of its earlystudents for their dbf course .the institute used to advertise as a non profit organisationand their visionused to be good.Now theyhave grown big and I do not know of they have gone away ina different direction.But their quALITYOF EDUCATION IS GOOD.STUDY MATERIALS ARE EXCELLENT IN TERMS OF CONTENT AND STYLE.Theyhave a dedicated set of teachers and they workhard to make things good.The staff are paid well and theyrespond byworking hard and sincerely.This is important because manyinstitutes pay less aand extract more .Just as trying tomilk a cow without feeding it.icfai HAS MANYCOURSES AND IT IS DIFFICULT TO KEEP TRACK OF IT .Their publications are good though costly.My only fear is that this fast growth should not dilute the standards of the institute.Aneye on the qualityshould be there .Management education depend s entirely upon teaching thinking and acting .Methods difer but the aimis tomake the students readyto face the real situatioin.this could be done by taking up real cases for analysis and study.manyinstitute never do this for lack of time or resources.In icfai this is done andtheyregularly publish cases and students are exposed toit .
There are more than 800 management schol inIndia and ICFAI is one among the top and hence one could confidently join .But always do things after personal varification .
The moneyspent should be worth it .ok .profvarma
