Just got rejected by ICICI Personal Loan Department. and Reason they gave was completely rubbish. I don’t have words to explain their foolishness and the rubbish they did.
First thing I would like to tell you guys that if you are applying for a loan in ICICI be ready for Police type inquiry, I didn’t see such inquiry even when I got my passport. let me tell what the hell happened to me.
ICICI was advertising like "Need Money, Come to us", Easy money loan and all sort of things, SO I applied for the loan, Gave all the papers, they came for inquiry at home and office than they called me for Interview, Approved me, I gave necessory checks and evrerything and finally said that "Your Final report is yet to come so we’ll call you back in 2 days"
after two days they called at bank, I went and to my surprice guy said that neighbour near your office says that Noone like "Manoj Soni" works here, I explained the problem that we just shifted to new place so no one near our office knows anyone at our office. I showed him the salary check I got from my office and my passbook was showing entry of all checks I got for salary and I showed him our company check book to cross varify that the checks I got were given from company but that guy said only if neighbour says that Manoj SOni works there than and than only you can get approval.
WHAT A RUBBISH, is the company mad giving me 12, 000 / month without I working there? Even if I showed him companies check book and my passbook to varify check numbers I got for my salary he said he needs varification from neighbour only... I didn’t understand how to explain this stupid bank, I said what else proof you need to proove that I really work in this company but he needed verbal varification from neighbour only and STRONG / SOLID on paper documents were not worth to him. I just tore the file he had for me in front of him and stood up. It was real hard time for me.
So guys I know what I wrote above is not review but the bad exprience I had with ICICI, if you are looking for Personal Loan try to avoid ICICI bank, they are going to varify you at your home / office, with your home neighbours, office neighbours like you are going to run away any moment OR you are a big criminal, No on paper proofs mean to them, only thing they need is verbal proof.
Just explain your neighbours that ICICI guy would come, and you’ll get the loan no other way, if you be honest forget the loan, do fraud with ICICI and you’ll get loan very easily.
Finally, about all banks one tell "Bank Borrows Umbrella when you need ans asks it back when it is Really Raining"
