ICICIbank.com is a real good online counter-part of a bank compared to online sites of other bank. I have two more and have seen 5-6 more (mostly PSU)
Site has secured entry, but they take security to real hights which becomes irretating. Even by mistek you press back/forward button, you get out of the bank site.
You can mail to regional manager from front page (even w/o loggin into banking site) and you get swift action.
One of htre best thing is the facillity of making bill payment. All other banks chnage a small fee direct or ask you to have some amount to be depoisted for the same facilty taht is provided by ICICIbank.com for free. (Thoguh ICICIBank.com also operate billjunction.com and same feature come with a price.)
You can log conplan to ICICI Bank using online itnerface. It saves your wait time and you also have proof of complain.
Requests like check book issue and check stop, FD, DD, RD are possible right from the online interface. which is really cool as you don’t have to goto branch. (Branch visit for any damn thing for ICICI bank takes atleast 45 minutes, due to stupid processes followed by them.)
Other bank allow you to make an online payment to accounts of the same bank, but with ICICIBnak.com you can make make payment to all bank accounts of some 100+ cities using e-cheques.
If you have a Visa credit card (issued by any bank) then you can use "Card-2-Card Funds Transfer" to make payment. My friend who had SBI Card do it as he forgets the last date of payment. (SBI Card just got an online interface. SMS notification)
Customer Care through online banking is only a tick better. I have not received any reply to two ticketes logged, ever.
Though I am disgrunted customer of ICICI Bank (I’m a Gold previlege, still I avoid visiting banch), I would highly recommand the website of ICICI Bank. It neat and very useful. Specially the Bill Pay and Making payment to anyone in all major cities of India. Bill Pay is not free by most of othr bank or not provided and Online payment to non-same-Bank accounts is (I belive) provided by ICICI bank as of now.
