I opened my Corporate Salary Account while joining my current company(Wipro Technology Services) in December.
ICICI Bank’s representatives present at Wipro office told me that because my Salary Account is with a Corporate(Wipro), I can make ’limitless cash withdrawals at any ATM’ in India/use my debit card anywhere in India for shopping(at Big Bazaar etc.) without having to pay any extra ATM charges (for normal Savings Acount, I think only 4 such transactions are free for a month).
Ironically, ICICI has now deducted ATM charges, which obviously reflects FRAUD by ICICI representative present at Wipro’s premises the day I joined Wipro.
Lesson Learnt: ICICI Representatives are FRAUD, don’t trust them unless they are prepared to give the same "in writing".
