I hope this information is not too old to be of any use to others. It is based on my experience of Banking with them when I lived in Dombivli (East) on the outskirts of Mumbai.
This is maybe 7 years back, but as I see there are no reviews for UWB I have decided to write one. UWB came as a breath of fresh air after my experience with nationalised Banks. This was at a time when Nationalised Banks thought that they were a gift of God to us and that our money deposited with them belonged to them. The only easy way of getting money out of them was I suppose by pointing a gun at them.
As I was working in Godrej at that time, a Maharashtrian colleague of mine a very good friend, with whom I’ve lost touch now, helped me to open an account with UWB. Although the service was not as smooth as that of the private banks now, it made banking a bearable experience. Most of the operations were quite smooth and simple, although I had to wait quite a long time for services, the staff were always quite helpful.
