I recently applied for a home loan from IDBI HOME FINANCE Ltd. Till I gave the cheque for the processing fee, I received a call daily from the bank abt what it needs and how good service they wud offer me.
Once I handed over the cheque for the processing fee, I was the one who was daily calling the bank. They didnt even inform wht wud be required for sactioning the loan. Finally they said I wud need a guarantor. This despite I already having a co-applicant. Some banks either have a co-applicant / guarantor ...never both.
After speaking with the manager Parag Bhide, I was explained tht the institution policy was they wud credit the processing fee cheque as soon as they receive it and that was non refundable. Bhide arrogantly told me that I can get all the papers and documents with the bank and forget abt the processing fee I had already paid to the bank.
This is the worst service and the most rude behaviour one can offer to customers. I have learnt this the hard way from IDBI HOME FINANCE Ltd...
