I have been cheated by IDBI bank. I got home lone sanctioned by the bank after providing necessary documents and paying processing fee Rs. 6500/- In offer letter bank has mentioned loan amount will be 85% of market value of property or loan amount sanctioned by bank, which ever lower.
Upon receiving letter I requested bank seversl times to carry out evaluation of property and tell me the exact amount of loan that will be disbursed so that I can proceed for agreement with seller and arrange rests of the amount. However upon several such requests bank never carried out valuation of property nor told me loan amount that could be disbursed. Finaly, I approached to HDFC Ltd. They provided me necessary information and I purchased the property.
