Network coverage - fail. Customer service - fail. Billing - fail. Ethics - fail. What a faaltu Idea, Sirjee.
Twice in 6 months, they activated some stupid Value Added service on my prepaid connection without my consent. First some IPL score scheme, another some quiz contest. Both were chargeable. And they definitely dont add any value for me.
Customer support does not have a clue. I called them 5 days in a row to get unwanted and unsolicited services deactivated. They say it would take 24 hours, but still nothing is done.
When I ask them to revert the charges, because I never used any of those services they added, they will get argumentative and blame you.
The only good thing about them - Network coverage in Pune and across MH, is now poor. Often fails to connect the called number at one go(across other network operators, even Idea themselves). Call drops are pretty common. Undelivered SMSes are common. 3G is very slow. Billing of 3g is highly opaque. I have seen faster performance of Android Google Maps using other providers.
I am done with them, after almost 9 years of using the same number, since college. Last one year with them has been highly painful. What an idea sirjee. Porting away!
