It can happen in India also!!!

In America!!!

Hellou Msians!!

Time is a funny yet intelligent thing. Its known as the best healer so every stance of agony is left on time for a transition to something that might appear pleasant whereas every joyous moment is apparently so short-lived.Perhaps, this is the way ’’time’’ is auditioned to maintain the balance in life at a consistency.

Thats exactly where the flow of the movie In America[2002] dwells in::Trusting time to offer some happiness [what they call a miracle!] after alternating thrusts of tragedy.

The movie, directed by Jim Sheridan is dedicated to her dead younger brother Frankie Sheridan and is based on real life experience of the director as Irish immigrants to America. The movie features real life sisters Sarah and Emmy Bolger playing the roles of Christy and Ariel.Johnny, the man of the family is played by Paddy Considine whereas the woman Sarah, by Samantha Morton.

Well, the synopsis of the movie goes this way::

The Irish family immigrates to America to get over the recent death of their son Frankie. They find an apartment in a location thats full of drug-addict residents.Anyways, there was no other way out when they were yearning for a living with limited resources. The kids become familiar with the neighbours and the parents as well. The movie is shot basically in the form of a narrative and the narrator being Christy who records each moment, happie as well as the difficult ones...specially the ’’pre-death’’ moments of Frankie.

Christy believed that she had three wishes as was told to her by Frankie and she has a stern belief in this, perhaps ’cause it was Frankie, someone whom she loved so much, had told her of this. There are moments in the movie that will touch the chords in the heart to get the hormones responsible for emotions to be secreted all at a time but it wont make you cry your lungs out as does the over-acting of SRK n blah in movies like KHNH for absolutely nothing at all.The sweetest part of the movie is the innocence of Ariel, the younger sister. Her queries on every

aspect of her life will drive you to your childhood making you utter I wish ...

Christy is a comparitively matured gurl despite her age, 10 years.Ariel expresses her feelings, agitations..etc etc very suitably for the child that she is to suit the role played by her and thats what is most enticing about her character.Kids are in fact innocent and innocence is something that gets one intrigued if the present stage of the world is considered.

The movie ends with a juxtaposition of something happie as a compensation for the death of Frankie as in the birth of a new baby girl which is in turn a result of a miracle, and something very indiscernible yet if trust doesn’t rust, its quite possible to the extent of infinity...Its here that Christy uses her third wish!!!

I think I should not spill the beans about the story-line any further.Just watch it, if not for the sake of it, but the movie does aware you of really important stances that one may come across in life where making decisions is a real decision in itself!!!
