I am a fan of Jagjit singh and his music.His style of rendering a ghazal and his compositions are fabulous.And most of the time he does use the best of lyricists like Qateel shifai, Nida fazli etc. This album too, is one of his best.The song Dosti jab kisi se ki jaye..dushmano ki bhi rai lee jaye..is great. But the best song in this album, for the sheer simplicty of lyrics, but maximum impact is Apne hothon par sajana chahta hu.This is one number, that is always on my mind. The last stanza is fabulous. you’ve just got to listen to it. And this song is Jagjits favorite too.
