I have been a regular customer of Indiaplaza for more than 4 years now. The site offers massive discounts on books and I have usually been impressed by the delivery times as well.
Sadly the above doesnt hold true anymore with respect to the delivery times. I had placed 2 orders
for 7 books each.
IN2204110231 on 22nd April 2011 and
IN2604110081 on 26th April 2011
So far I have received only 3 books from the first order and 4 from the second. The order status for most books show’will be shipped by 25th April’(29th april for the 2nd order).
When I call the customer service, the rep always tells me that the books will be shipped in a couple of days, but its now been nearly 20 days since the first order. A couple of books which were in pre-order have also been released everywhere, but Indiaplaza is still to send them to me.
I had also raised a ticket on the website and had naively believed the sms which said the issue will be resolved in 1 day. After waiting for a couple of days and finding no comments or reverts on the ticket, I sent a re-query and several more in the subsequent days. The whole exercise though was quite pointless since I now believe no one reads the complaints on the website.
I was interested in buying a few more books(given the 43% discount), but given the tardy deliveries I am just holding off for the time being.
