I ordered Burberry perfume as a Birthday gift for my wife through thehindushopping.com(powered by indiaplaza.in). Prior to ordering it from thehindushopping.com I read quite a few negative reviews about their service and products but I had no other option as I was outstation. Ignoring the negative reviews I went ahead and ordered the item.
The delivery was prompt and my wife received the gift on time. But that’s about it.
The perfume is nowhere close to the real Burberry perfume. It smells bad and doesn’t even last for an hour. Later on we went to Lifestyle retail store to compare with similar perfume. It was no surprise that the smell was so different. Though it’s a Birthday gift for her, my wife doesn’t even want to put on this perfume. She gave it to our Domestic Help. I actually felt it’s not even worth to gift it to someone else.
I don’t think I’ll ever buy from them again.

After I wrote the above review the very next day I received a Mail from Indiaplaza.com asking me for the Order No. so as to investigate it from their end which I provided promptly. Then within two days I received a call from them asking me what my(our) grievances are and what prompted me to give them a 1 star rating. My wife spoke to them narrating what she felt about the product and which is the same that I wrote about in my earlier review. The executive who called us was very polite, apologized to us; and he promised us that he’ll send the same product(Burberry perfume) again free of cost.
Well, today we received the package and my wife told me that it is definitely different from the earlier one. Of course, it smells genuine this time. My wife is very much satisfied with the perfume.
Reflecting my personal experience with them and looking at their current ratings and user recommendations I believe Indiaplaza.com is now more Customer focused and trying their best to make Customers satisfied.
I really appreciate their gesture, the effort they had taken to make Customers happy and for being so Customer focused.
I’ll not think twice to order from them again and I’ll definitely recommend it to others.
Had I not had a bad experience earlier I would definitely give them 5 stars.
