A classic example of how pathetic a customer service can go down to. Companies like these are the ones which are killing the nascent e-commerce phenomenon that is slowly catching up.
To come back to my experience, I shopped with IndiaPlaza for a sandwich maker even though it is a little costlier than Croma as I want to gift this to my dear one. I placed the order on Aug 8th 2010 well in advance as I want the product to be delivered by August 22nd. Days passed, but no update/response on shipping until I raised a ticket which is answered only after 3 days of urgency. Things started getting interested here.I was sent an update that the product will be shipped by August 27th and I received the same a day later. My dear one opened the product thinking it is some surprise only to have some broken Sandwich maker on her hand. The packaging is well in tact, no damage to packing.
I immediately raised a ticket and even spoke to customer service who promised action will be taken immediatly on the buyer and they will get back to me in 3-5 days. It has been close to 20 days since ticket is raised and it is still active. No response and all my calls to customer service are not being picked up.
To sum up, This is a big cheating company and I had similar experiences shared by my friends recently. I am a big ecommerce user and I am happy shopping on ebay so far..dump this IndiaPlaza guys..a big fraud and cheating company
