False Promises for Diwali Delivery

I had placed an order for Diwali Gifts delivery to my relatives in Mumbai on 13th Oct 2010. The offer that Indiaplaza gave was that it will positively deliver the items before Diwali(4th Nov 2010). I also did receive confirmatory mail accordingly.


Even after raising 7 trouble tickets, and numerous attempts to reach the customer care(so called agents) my consignment is not yet delivered in full. One part is delivered on 8th Nov(of course shipped date is promptly shown as 3rd Nov) and second part is not known.


The agents are unable to resolve the issue. There is no other escalation mechanism available on the website. No customer care manager, no further resolution. Wonder if this is called Customer Care. Somehow I got the email of one Mr Narinder, who happens to be some Manager in Indiaplaza. Alas, he too is not bothered to respond.


I want to approach consumer court for this lack of responsible service, even after payment. Can this be done? Where to approach?


Would surely not use this service any time again, nor would recommend any one use it.


Cheaters for sure.
