India loses to Australia... again.
Cricket, India and Australia. Australia makes a mockery of India in India at the Mecca of cricket in India at the Eden Gardens. If this supposedly the best batting line up in the world can?t score 240 runs against a second grade (was that true? Or they used some camouflage techniques to hide the main bowlers?) Australian team, then perhaps they should all go back to play Ranji Cricket. How many of these players would really care about playing Ranji seriously if they are indeed dropped? Or will they utilize the time in finishing off their advertisement commitments? Perhaps we will see some new Yuvraj Singh Ads in the coming future. Well, his ouster was pretty much apparent. But what the heck are players like Sehwag and Kumble and Harbhajan and blah blah blah doing in the Indian team? Damn idiots. They are going to have a disastrous tour of Australia. And I know I will get threatening calls for saying this but no one will be happier to see them bite the dust in the OZ country. Time they do some serious thinking. And it is about time, BCCI does something about their non performance. This reminds me of this funny incident yesterday. During the Indian inning in the yesterday?s game, at a time when India was very nicely placed, the DD commentators got Jagmohan Dalmiya in the box and talked with him for sometime. While leaving Dalmiya very confidently claimed that India was going to win the match. Funny. He was the one handing over the winning cheque to the Australian team. Really funny moment that was? Looking at this awesome Australian team, one thing comes to mind. Last time a team was so dominating in cricket was the great West Indies. And they were mean looking tall huge players (well most of them). Looking at those players sends shivers down the opponent?s teams. Now this Australian team looks more like a bunch of funny looking cricketers at best. Ponting, Gilchrist, Clarke all look like jokers. But the way they play, Indian players should be laughing at the joke they played on them.
On the other hand, why should they be? They play so many matches; they win some they lose some. They lose some; they still get their match fees. They win some, they make us forget the lost games and they get sponsors and big bucks. Everyone is happy. Why would they care! If we don?t?
