Worst Banking Experience I've ever had..

I hold both SB and FD accounts in IndusInd Bank. However, today I deeply regret my decision to start an account in this bank because I’ve experienced the worst banking service in a short period.


The banking staff are so negligent and careless that I’ve lost money twice because of their fault alone. The first time when I noticed that an amount of Rs. 1650/- was unnecessarily deducted from my account citing invalid reasons, I had to contact the branch repeatedly several times so that they initiate the refund process. Thankfully, the first time I got back the refund amount, but only after all that unnecessary trouble I had to go through.


However, this time they have again tested my patience beyond endurance. In spite of submitting proper documents well in advance of the deadline( about one and a half month in advance), they have again deducted an amount of Rs. 1825/- from my account. This is seriously the limit.


When I contacted their main branch, they first refused to acknowledge their mistake stating that they had deducted the amount because of late submission of the forms. However, this is a blatant lie. How can they lie so shamelessly when I have the acknowledgement receipt with me which clearly shows the submission date with their seal on it!


When I forwarded the acknowledgement receipt, it took them more than one month to admit that it was their mistake. Since then every alternative week they keeping sending me mails assuring that they are doing their best to resolve my issue at the earliest.


I seriously don’t understand one thing – It’s already been around six months now, how much more time do they need to refund an  amount as simple as this? It took them hardly a minute to deduct the amount unnecessarily from my account without my authorization. Then why this unnecessary delay especially when they have also acknowledged the fact that mistake was clearly from their end. I’ve had enough and I’m seriously thinking of closing all my accounts with this careless and inefficient bank.


I’d never recommend their banking service to anyone I know because there is not a single positive thing one could get from this bank other than loss of money and peace of mind.
