Insomnia has definitely been one of the best edge-of-the-seat thrillers I have ever seen. Although, I believe, there is still some time before the release in India, watching it on DVD has been an equally enchanting experience. Insomnia is about a detective/cop (Al Pacino) who is on the trail of a killer (Robin Williams), in the process he commits a murder himself of which only the killer is aware. The story has been very beautifully portrayed in the movie. Robin Williams and Al Pacino steal the show. Insomnia surprises you sporadically, however it never fails to keep you curious about - ’what next?’ If you’re looking for a break from the not-so-great hollywood flicks and the always-bad bollywood drab, I cannot recommend anything better!
