The Jaipur city was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jaisingh around 300 years back. It is the capital of Rajasthan state.This is the largest city of the Rajasthan. The city is very beautiful, well planned and area is very neat and clean.Their official language is Hindi but also speaks local Rajasthani marwari language. People of the city are very simple, helping nature, have good behavior and provide nice hospitality. The city has the very good facilities of International Air Port, Railway Station, metro service, bus depot and hotels. People of the city are educated. There are plenty colleges and schools available. The city is one of the world heritage sites and it is safe place to walk around.
This is also known as pink city and has many religious places and cultural sites like Jawahar Kala Kendra, Ravinder manch, Hawa mahal museum, Jal mahal, Jantar mantar, Albert hall museum, city palace, Jaigarh fort and religious Hindu mandir like Hari narayana temple, Govind Dev temple, Garh Ganesh and Shiv temple. Ghoomer is their folk dance, in cuisine their famous dishes are dal baati choorma, ker sangri, ghever, feeni,
mawa kachori and moong dal halwa. Their festivals like vir Tejaji Mela, gangor, teej kite and elephant festivals are famous. This is a nice tourist place.Throughout the season tourists keep visiting and enjoy the trips. There are plenty hotels available in the city to stay for the visitors.
I am from Jodhpur and several times I had been to Jaipur for visiting and my personal commitments. So this is very good city to visit and have the memorable experience.
