Jaisalmer is of the oldest city of Rajasthan. This city is around 150 km away from Pakistan border. For security purpose bsf and police force is more alert at all the time.
Population of the city is lesser than compare to the other cities. The city is surrounded by small villages. People are doing at small scale business, few govt jobs and also at private firms.Traditional culture is nice and simple. They speak Hindi and local rajasthani language. Ladies wear Rajasthani shutes and most of the male wear dhoti kurta and pagri(safa).
This is a good tourist place. Normally foreigners used to visit in winter season. During summer temp goes very high may be up to 50 degree Celsius.For tourist purpose govt museum, rajawada fort, Narayan niwas palace and rawal kot are famous places. These Are very Attractive, beautiful and enjoyable. There is a good railway station and hotels available with all Facilities.
So it is worth to visit and see the beauty of this place.
