Jaswant Thada is situated at Jodhpur very near to Mehrangarh fort. It is 3km from Railway station, 5km from bus depot and 7km from Jodhpur Air port. This is a royal memorial of Rathore clan.I It is built so nicely which is called one of the seven wonders of Rajasthan. White Marble stone is used to built this monument in brilliant rajasthani architecture.This monument was built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh by his son. The whole area is very neat and clean, the shining of marble looks very beautiful in the moon light and gives nice attractions to the visitors.
Its opening time is from 08am to 05pm and entry fee is Rs 15 per head. So the all over we can see the nice beauty and pretty architect, good pictures, scenarios, arts and other types of great collections of rulers of olden times. It has the large area with inside small very good decorated palaces of maharaja of olden days are situated. There is a small lake is closely attached to it and beautiful garden is there to enjoy the trip.Ambiance of the place is very good, comfortable and peaceful. The tourists used to visit their regularly. You can enjoy the folk dances and rajasthani traditional songs I used to visit there several times during my college days and now whenere I visit Jodhpur I used to go there.
